APICA’s Gala d’excellence : Finalists for best businesses in Aylmer announced

APICA, Aylmer’s business and professional association, has released the names of the finalists for the association’s annual Excellence awards in six categories.  The final winners in each category will be announced at the Gala d’excellence, Februrary 3, at the Château Cartier.

In Retail Business, with under 15 employees, the contenders are Au jardin de Sylvie, 1.2.9 Bistro Mexicana, and Pizza Pizza;  in Service Business, the finalists are the Cinéma Aylmer, Château Cartier, and Sonart ; Industry and Construction has only one finalist, Lafarge Canada. Retail Business with over 15 employees has two finalists, Malibu Spa & Boutique and Tim Hortons Aylmer, as does the Professional and Financial Services category, with Caisse Populaire d’Aylmer and Etude légale du Vieux-Aylmer.  The Special Jury Prize will go to one of Centre d’exposition l’Imagier, Auto-Show Aylmer, or the STO.

While businesses must nominate themselves, with a very detailed nomination form, the finalists and eventual winners are selected by an independent, anonymous jury.

Tickets for the gala banquet, awards ceremony, and dance are available from APICA by calling 819-685-1823.
