THE BULLETIN DELIVERS YOUR ADVERTISING MESSAGE AND
BRINGS PEOPLE IN YOUR DOOR !
HERE’S WHY:
- The Bulletin d’Aylmer is the cultural bridge between the francophone and anglophone populations of the Aylmer sector of the city of Gatineau. A bilingual paper, The Bulletin has as its mission statement, which is on the top of each page: “Together in harmony”. This reflects the reality of our sector: two cultures, working together, creating a dynamic community.
- The population of the Aylmer sector is one of the most bilingual in Canada. The community is noted for the high level of education and income, according to Statistics Canada.
- The Bulletin delivers 22,359 copies each week into every home in the Aylmer sector (postal codes J9H and J9J) and also the Plateau de La Capitale sector, right next door (postal code J9A). The distribution includes all business owners of Aylmer (delivered via Canada Post) as well as 1400 copies distributed around town at various restaurants and convenience stores. In total there are more than 50,000 readers each week.
- No competitor can compare with the Bulletin’s coverage in this readership area. An advertiser can be assured that their message will reach this well educated, high income population.
- Community newspapers are highly valued as the best source of information for the public to know what is going on in their neighbourhoods: their schools, on municipal council, in local service clubs and churches, in sports groups and cultural organizations. Provincial and national issues are also covered as they impact on the lives of our local population.
- ComBase, a national survey company specializing in community newspapers, has, for the second time, registered readership numbers that prove that the Bulletin d’Aylmer is the best read newspaper of both the francophone and anglophone population of the Aylmer sector.
- The most recent survey results by Léger Marketing, in the fall of 2010, show the Bulletin at 45% readership compared to La Revue at 7% and Le Droit at 19%, in the Aylmer sector.
- The Bulletin d’Aylmer is affiliated with two other newspapers in the Outaouais: The West Quebec Post, distributed in the Buckingham sector of the Ville de Gatineau as well as Wakefield and Chelsea, with a total distribution of 9.090 copies per week; and the Journal du Pontiac, distributed in MRC Pontiac as well as to Quyon and Luskville in MRC des Collines, with a total distribution of 9,400 copies per week.
