---Amuzart, making artistic education fun for the whole family
Proudly operating from inside her home in Aylmer, Amuzart owner Jacinthe Mainguy is dedicated to providing children and families with the tools to develop their artistic talents and creativity with utmost freedom. With its headquarters located on rue du Tartan, Amuzart is a local online educational arts and crafts boutique that offers a wide variety of artistic products and workshops for kids and adults. Providing free deliveries for orders $75 and up, its inventory boasts more than 300 different products.
Featuring anything from markers and crayons to origami paper and acrylic paint in a vast variety of colours, the boutique has everything needed for young and old arts and crafts enthusiasts to do what they love. Offering curbside pickup and following Covid-19 guidelines rigorously, Mainguy says orders are typically ready within two hours.
As a mother, Mainguy believes her services are important for the community, especially parents seeking an affordable and convenient solution to fulfilling their kids’ artistic desires. “I have a very personalized service,” Mainguy said. Examples of the personalized services feature year-round gift wrapping for free, and virtual birthday events including home-delivery of arts and crafts materials.
Established in 2018, Amuzart also has a YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfMoNo2-X5iPCqn0rvTHKgQ featuring a plethora of tutorials for individual and group painting, drawing, and sculpting projects. Before the pandemic, Amuzart offered in-person painting workshops for kids and parents. Continuing to offer workshops in virtual format, Mainguy says the main focus is to allow kids to improve their artistic learning capabilities in a fun and engaging family setting. “It can be as much for kids as for adults if they want to start,” Mainguy said, specifying that her products and workshops are intended for beginner and intermediate artists.
