From Space to Gatineau
Artemis II crew gets loving ovation at the Canadian Museum of History

The Artemis II crew (Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, Jeremy Hansen and Jenni Gibbons) visited the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau on Wednesday, May 13 as part of their Canadian outreach and media tour. With hundreds of people in the audience, they shared their insights into their Artemis II space mission and discussed the takeoff and landing, and their experience in space with zero gravity.
Each crew member answered questions from Brian Gallant, CEO of Space Canada, about their experiences on the mission and their personal lives, including their views on the mission's astronomical past and how they ended up on that spaceship.
There was a segment in which the crew answered audience questions. Jeremy Hansen, the only Canadian astronaut on board, told the crowd about Canada's impact on the mission and its importance to space stations. He then ended the event before the crowd with one of his favourite stories, followed by a standing ovation.
