After years of watching the Constance-Provost building construction, residents will finally be able to see the inside. The building will be a community hub for Aylmer and the home of the Lucy-Faris library and the Aylmer service centre.
The grand opening will take place April 25 and 26 from 9 am to 5 pm.
There will be guided tours of the facility and the services available as well as games and animations for kids. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about CreateSpace with equipment demonstrations for the 3D printer, heat press, and laser cutter. There will also be a lecture by Lynne Rodier entitled “Celebrating Old Aylmer: a historic site at the heart of cultural life”.
Kids between the ages of 12 and 17 are invited to participate in an evening of Virtual Reality, Slam with D-Track and other activities on April 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
