Boucher Forest Festival Returns October 3
The Boucher Forest Foundation invites the community to enjoy the colours of fall at the Boucher Forest Festival on Saturday, October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Boucher Forest Park.
Free and open to everyone, the event will give visitors an opportunity to discover the forest from different perspectives. Several local organizations and partners will be on site with interactive booths and activities focusing on nature, biodiversity, and outdoor recreation.
The program will include discoveries about life in the forest, birdwatching, guided mycology walks, family-friendly activities, and much more. Visitors of all ages will have an opportunity to learn more about local biodiversity while enjoying the park’s fall colours.
The event will also kick off Boucher Forest Month. Throughout October, a variety of activities will be offered, including outdoor theatre, yoga, outdoor recreation, an introduction to nature photography, and self-guided activities.
The day will also mark the launch of the Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign, “Boucher Forest: Your Donation, a Natural Legacy,” which will support the protection, development, and enhancement of this natural area.
Join us on October 3, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at 500 Samuel-Edey Street and enjoy fall with family and friends.
