Déka-Danse, one-stop shop for all your dancing desires
Whether you’re looking for your first pair of ballet slippers or that perfect pair of pants for your hip hop class this fall, a dance accessory boutique in the heart of Gatineau is more than prepared to provide exactly what you need.
Having been located on rue Main for more than two decades and in Gatineau for almost three, Déka-Danse has established itself as a well-known entity in Outaouais’ dancing community.
As part of their back to school special, Déka-Danse will be providing 10 per cent off all regular priced orders until September 30, according to the boutique’s owner Marc Routhier.
Seeing multiple generations of customers walk through its doors from all over the region, Routhier said the boutique serves products of various dance genres – from jazz garments to figure skating accessories – for all walks of life.
While the pandemic had a significant impact on the business, Routhier said that things are finally picking up again with schools set to reopen and life getting a bit closer to normalcy.
Currently operating with COVID-19 safety measures, the store limits the number of people in the building at the same time and all people must wear masks.
