----  Democracy, socialism ... and road work

 

Editorials : First, I would like to congratulate the Bulletin on last week's two editorials, one on Democracy by Mr. Péries and one on Socialism by Mr. Ryan. These two texts sum up what democracy and socialism mean to me. It seems to me that the function of the State is to see to the well-being of its citizens and not the other way around.

Road work: Could the Bulletin investigate and inform us of the reasons for various road work in Aylmer? I haven't seen anything about the work on Samuel-Edey, nor currently on Principale Street near Lavigne.
