When I read the opinions of so many media-watchers during this election, I get the feeling that we, the public, are being played ... big time.  Their pretend-mistakes & typos (to gain mileage on social media), the faux-protesters, those same obnoxious people photographed in various campaign-stop protests, all of this stinks of manipulation.  We are being manipulated -- is that what "free elections" really mean?   Does our country needs Honesty Cops? And how do we explain that to the Burmese, Russians, Thais, Cubans and others?

Elections are supposed to be symbols of our free society, but in reality aren't they more pictures of our shameless self-deception, at least as coming from the two traditional big parties?
