Knights of Columbus host their first walleye dinner of the season

The Knights of Columbus kicked off their season with a walleye dinner on Friday, April 24.
The event was almost sold out, with every table filled and a food line stretching almost to the door. “We never change the price of the dinner to make it more accessible for people who want to come and join us,” stated Grand Knight Patrick Doyon.
The dinner cost $25 per plate, which included a choice of perfectly cooked fish or tender chicken, accompanied by a side of rice, coleslaw, and bread, plus a dessert.
Most of the revenue from the event is going toward the Aylmer Food Bank, L’Autre Chez-Soi, and the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul.
The evening featured live music performed by local band Unison.
The Knights of Colombus will host a walleye dinner on the last Friday of each month until November. The next one will be on May 29.
