Lavender Ridge Farm: natural products from Luskville
Lavender Ridge Farm offers visitors an array of lavender bath and beauty products as well as baked goods, wines and oils. The farm and store are located in Luskville, Quebec, along the picturesque Route 148, between the Ottawa River and the Gatineau hills. It is a stone’s throw from the famous Luskville Falls and Hiking Trail as well as the Home Cliff area, popular with rock climbers.
Lavender Ridge Winery takes advantage of the unique geography and geology of the land to produce the LaVigne wine, named for the family that worked the farmland for generations. LaVigne won a bronze medal at the 2014 Finger Lakes International Wine Competition.
The on-site store has a wide selection of bath products, creams, salves, balms and oils. All products are made with natural ingredients, while harnessing the subtle but powerful effects of lavender, camomile, peppermint, calendula and more. The Pure Soap is scented with lavender essential oil and is mild enough for babies. The variety of heating and relaxation products include rice and lavender pads in a soft covering to tuck into baby’s stroller on a wintery day or wrap around the shoulders and neck to relieve tension.
The store is open Friday-Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm.
Fresh home-baked bread is available on Saturdays and Sundays.
