South Hull Elementary hosted its second annual flea market

The South Hull flea market took place on Saturday, May 23, and many stands were selling a variety of items, including clothes, hockey cards, sweets, bracelets, necklaces, and more. Many of the stands were run by students who sold their goods with help from their parents.
South Hull Elementary has had garage sales in the past. They rebranded it as a “flea” market last year after wanting to broaden the market's appeal. “When you say flea market, you can have new, or you can have used. It can be a mish-mash of anything.” Carissa Piercey, the president of the South Hull Home and School Association, said.
Piercey mentioned that the flea market is a good excuse to get together not only to shop but also to socialize and meet new people.
